To be able do on-demand pieces with lots of foliage, you’ll need to keep a good wholesale supply on hand. For this spring, Pioneer Imports & Wholesale has put together an exciting group of greenery called the Verdant Collection. It’s chockful of brilliant colors and opulent textures, just perfect for your daily needs and today’s project.

We’ll create a beautiful bridal bouquet in the newest trend – all greens. Our selection of foliage for this project, listed below, compliment each other very well. The hues here are perfect for spring and are enhanced with a variety of shapes and textures.

Using the spring green colored Hedera ivy as an intact base, begin to insert the other sprigs, taking full advantage of the natural drape of this versatile piece. Fill out the spray with the lacy fern pieces and the look will begin to take shape. Adding in the colorful Boxwood and other bits will pull your piece together, with a surprisingly traditional bridal look in an up-to-date bouquet.

Secure the pieces at the back of the ivy and fluff out any areas that need it. Adding an accent piece of white ribbon, woven throughout, will pull everything together and lend a rich touch to the lush green of your spray. It’s now ready for the bride’s walk down the aisle.

Video: How To: Rock Candy Bracelet Corsage – Reinvented!

Amanda Thomas - Thursday, April 26, 2018

Video Summary written for Pioneer Imports & Wholesale by: Lisa B.

In this quick video tutorial from Pioneer Imports & Wholesale, learn how to create an elegant and sophisticated corsage with instruction from Vonda LaFever AIFD, CFD, PFCI.

This design builds on the Rock Candy corsage bracelet, a beautiful wholesale Fitz Design piece. Rhinestone quintets and stylish Gleaming Leaves bring additional glamour to the composition, while sheer ribbon in mint offers an interesting sense of color contrast. Wholesale silk rosebuds add a soft floral touch that rounds out this design beautifully.

Vonda begins by introducing the Rock Candy corsage bracelet – this project will use the rose gold color, but Vonda points out that this piece is also available in lovely bronze and copper options as well. She begins building the corsage by tying a piece of ribbon beneath the platform and bracelet. Next, she uses the loose ribbon ends to secure separate bow to the piece.

Because glue on glue construction offers a stronger bond, Vonda preps for the next steps by applying a base layer of adhesive around the plastic platform. Another popular tip is to increase surface area wherever possible, as Vonda does here by curling the stems of the metallic leaves.

Now that the plastic platform is prepared, Vonda attaches the silk rose leaves around the edges. The radiant gold Gleaming Leaves take their place around the perimeter next.

The quintets receive a slightly different treatment. Vonda bunches these together at the stem, placing the grouping directly in the center. This adds height to the arrangement and serves as a glitzy focal point that immediately catches the eye.

To complete the design, Vonda carefully places the silk mini rose blossoms and tiny silk buds around the edges, taking care to strike a pleasing visual balance. Create a tidy result by lightly fluffing the ribbons and bending the quintets as needed.

Video: How To: Trendy Corsage Design with Diamond Road Bracelet

Amanda Thomas - Tuesday, April 24, 2018

Video Summary written for Pioneer Imports & Wholesale by: Lisa B.

Learn how to create a stylish corsage in a modern colorway with Vonda LaFever AIFD, CFD, PFCI. In this quick video walkthrough, Vonda builds an unforgettable corsage using the sparkling Diamond Road Bracelet along with wholesale silk flowers and wholesale Fitz Design accents from Pioneer.

The base for this contemporary corsage design, the Diamond Road Bracelet, features a plastic platform to make custom additions easier than ever. Vonda uses this platform to attach the radiant Sunrise brooch garlands with small pieces of thin wire, trimming the wire as needed.

Beautiful lacy Princessa ribbon adds body to the design without increasing the sense of weight. Vonda ties a length of this ribbon across the platform, using the loose ends to secure a voluminous bow right in the center of the corsage bracelet.

Next, Vonda uses adhesive to apply silk foliage around the edges of the plastic platform. This spray of dusty Lambs Ear offers a soft visual effect. Finally, Vonda rounds out the design with petals of wholesale silk flowers in a smooth coral color that matches the ribbon – this silk Hydrangea bush in pink sand is a favorite for any season.

This combination of sparkling wholesale Fitz Design elements and the exceptionally soft coral tones of wholesale silk flowers from Pioneer lends this corsage design an aesthetic that feels at once up-to-date and sweetly nostalgic. This piece will make a perfect keepsake your customers and clients will enjoy for years after a big event.

Video: Bright As Day Collection

Amanda Thomas - Monday, April 23, 2018

Video Summary written for Pioneer Imports & Wholesale by: Kathy L. Hall

The vibrant colors of Pioneer Imports & Wholesale’s Bright As Day wholesale silk flower collection reaffirms what we already know – everyone loves a bright, sunny day.  We’re doing a project today that dips into this assortment, part of the Spring/Summer 2018 catalog.

Beginning with the “Canister”, a metal container series perfectly blending color and texture, we’ll add a mix of florals in dazzling hues. In the product list below, you’ll find brilliant blue, radiant pink, and vivid orange.

As you begin popping the silk flower stems into the tall, shiny cylinder, place the darker colors deeper into the design and nearer the bottom, as that will draw the eye into the arrangement.

Place several taller stems in the center, and fan out and down with your other pieces, creating a vaguely conical shape, a bit peaked at the top. Fill in any spaces with your smaller silk florals, until you’re satisfied with the bright new floral magic you’ve just created.

Use a couple of pieces of curly willow, twined together, to arch over the whole display and you’ll find the deep brown blends in well with the tones of the container, pulling the arrangement together.

Now, you have a summery burst of bright to liven anyone’s day! You’ll want to keep an assortment from this wholesale silk floral collection on hand, as you’ll find your customers love a sunny look, too.

Video: How To: Design with Seaside Cafe Collection

Amanda Thomas - Thursday, April 12, 2018

Video Summary written for Pioneer Imports & Wholesale by: Lisa B.

Inspiration for this arrangement comes from the south of France – enjoying beautiful weather outside of a café, taking in the sights and sounds of the city.

Vonda LaFever, AIFD, PFCI, CFD creates a permanent botanical composition that embodies this aesthetic using pieces from the Pioneer Imports & Wholesale Seaside Café Collection. Soft colors like light pink blush, pale latte, and warm custard tones give this palette a nostalgic and welcoming personality.

A pair of two Bryant pots serve as a base for this design. Both pots are filled with blocks of floral foam to provide support for the permanent botanicals to be added later. By attaching adhesive to the bottom of the smaller pot, she creates a sturdy stacked design for an interesting layered effect.

For this project, Vonda uses wholesale silk flowers including hydrangea and rose bush cuttings, along with silk ivy vines. She inserts the darker roses into the top of the container and begins adding lighter silk flowers around the edges. A few pops of pale custard-yellow flowers take their place as accents in between.

Next, Vonda moves on to the bottom container, starting with darker silk foliage. When inserting the longer ivy vines, she makes sure they carry their volume over the edge of the container for a full and elegant appearance. She inserts a few of the larger silk blossoms into this bottom container for a fabulous sense of balance.

The result is a handsome permanent botanical arrangement appropriate for use in a variety of spaces during any season.

Explore the Pioneer Imports & Wholesale website for more wholesale silk flowers, containers, and everything you need to create gorgeous arrangements just like this one.

Video: How To: Design Corsages with Better & Best Bracelets

Amanda Thomas - Monday, April 09, 2018

Video Summary written for Pioneer Imports & Wholesale by: Lisa B.

In this video demonstration, learn how to create a bright and glimmering corsage with instruction from Vonda LaFever, AIFD, PFCI, CFD.

This demonstration features two wholesale Fitz Design corsage bracelets – the first is the Princess bracelet, featuring three rows of rhinestone look acrylic pieces, and the second is the Rock Candy bracelet that features four rows of rhinestones.

Vonda introduces the other elements used in this design. Permanent botanical elements include both blossoms and individual petals of silk Phalaenopsis orchid. Coordinated ribbon picks include a wired pink and orange ribbon along with a softer sheer ribbon in a light coral color. A touch of glitz comes from two different pearl sprays.

Before beginning, Vonda has already secured the plastic platform to the Princess corsage bracelet. The first step is to lightly secure it again with a length of the “Blended” style ribbon.

Next, Vonda creates a bow with a combination of the Blended and Sheer styles of ribbon, tying it to the plastic platform with the remainder of the first ribbon. Before double-knotting, she adds the floral rhinestone pearl spray.

Vonda has also taken time to apply adhesive to each of the accessories that will go into the corsage so that the glue has a little extra time to set up. She adds more adhesive to the plastic platform for durable glue-to-glue contact as she begins to add the individual orchid petals to create a lovely frame around the ribbon bow.

Opposite of the floral rhinestone pearl spray, Vonda adds two bubble pearl sprays for balance and charm. She nestles the full silk orchid blossom in the center of the bow to complete the design, then trims any extra length from the ribbons to tidy up the composition for display.

The finished design is bright and colorful, with just a touch of glamour. This is a great piece for any season – ideal for brightly themed weddings or proms.

Explore the Pioneer Imports & Wholesale website for all the products used in this video, and everything you need to create corsage designs just like this one. Pioneer offers a wide variety of wholesale ribbon, silk flowers, wholesale Fitz Design bracelets, and so much more. Pioneer can meet your design needs for every season.

Video: How To: Simple Corsage with Sophisticated Lady Bracelet

Amanda Thomas - Friday, April 06, 2018

Video Summary written for Pioneer Imports & Wholesale by: Lisa B.

This quick video tutorial will walk you through the process of creating a simple corsage that integrates trendy metal tones and permanent botanicals, as demonstrated by Vonda LaFever AIFD, PFCI, CFD.

Vonda begins by highlighting the base of this corsage, a wholesale Fitz Design selection called the Sophisticated Lady Bracelet. This corsage will use the bronze color, but Vonda also displays two additional color options including rose gold and copper. The bracelet is currently available in 12 colors.

She also offers a quick introduction to the other accents incorporated in this piece – wired “Flash” ribbon in copper, two Spooky Leaves in glamorous gold, silk Phalaenopsis orchid blossoms in white, and a small permanent botanical succulent along with two of its leaves.

Vonda starts the construction process by securing the remaining plastic platform with a piece of ribbon. She ties a second piece of ribbon from corner to corner, then uses it to attach a voluminous bow she created from a third section of ribbon.

Next, Vonda prepares the plastic platform with glue. This sets the stage for glue-to-glue contact to create a much stronger bond. Durability is one of the most crucial concerns for wearable accessories like this one – strong bonds and clean mechanics ensure this piece will last throughout a long event, ideally lasting long enough to become a keepsake or memento afterward.

By curling and flattening the long stem of the Spooky Leaf, Vonda creates a little extra gluing surface for a better hold. She glues and attaches the gold leaves on either side of the platform, before doing the same with the small wholesale artificial succulent and its companion leaves.

Vonda then arranges the silk Phalaenopsis orchid blossoms – she places four around the edges and finishes with one slightly offset in the center.

The resulting corsage demonstrates fantastic balance. The artificial succulents pop with color, the gold leaves and sparkling ribbon add a touch of glimmer and glamour, and the silk orchid blossoms make a sophisticated yet classic statement.

You can find all the supplies used this demonstration within the Pioneer Imports & Wholesale website. Pioneer offers a wide range of wholesale silk flowers, artificial succulents, beautiful ribbon, and wholesale Fitz Design bracelets – everything you need to create beautiful wrist corsages for any style and occasion.
