We all face rising fuel costs and thus rising freight charges. We are able to give you the lowest possible freight charges because we have:

Negotiated the lowest possible rates with UPS & Fedex, so you save. We are high volume shippers with both.
We have negotiated VERY low truck rates with a large, nationwide QUALITY truck line. Larger shipments are at rock bottom rates, yet delivered on time and safely. AND if there is a better rate out there, we will work to get it!
We purchase custom made cardboard cartons that are sized just below UPS limits, so we are able to fits as much merchandise in a box at the very lowest rates.

HERE IS WHAT YOU CAN DO:

Shipping Baskets: Baskets in nested sets SAVE YOU in freight. Three baskets in a nested set fit into the SAME SPACE as one. You get more merchandise for your shipping dollar. If possible, buy baskets WITHOUT a high handle. Fruit baskets with no handle, with side handles (ear handles), or drop handles will stack and are much more economical to ship, because you can get more in a box. It is all about getting the most value in a box. Shipping may seem higher on less expensive baskets because the value of the baskets is lower. We try to fit as many baskets in a box as possible.
Weight of order: Whenever possible, order 200 pounds at a time. That gets a lower rate (Hundred Weight UPS or FedEx Multi Weight.) Consolidate orders- place 1 larger order rather than 2 smaller orders.
Truck orders: Try to order pallet quantities - 500#-1000# are best for truck orders.

What are your shipping charges?
All of our shipping fees are calculated by weight, dimension and the location to which they are going. We do not have any flat rate fees. When an order is placed with us, we pack up what we have in stock. We pack as economically as possible. Then we weigh the box and enter your address into the computer. The shipping cost is then calculated by the computer. Therefore, it is impossible for us to give any kind of a shipping estimate, and still be fair to YOU. If we were to estimate, we would have to estimate high, which we know our customers will not appreciate! However, if you request it, we are happy to call you with a final total so that you know how much the shipping cost is.

Can you give me an estimate of the shipping charges?
We are sorry, but with the great varities of items that we have, varying in size and weight, and the huge differences in distance, it is impossible to give a reliable estimate.
