• Baskets – Next to your products, the basket is the most important part of the gift, so choose carefully. There are three factors to consider when choosing your baskets.
  1. Size – We recommend that our customers use the measurements provided in our literature and on our website to draw an outline of the basket on a piece of paper. Then place the products that you plan to use in the outline to assure that you buy the proper size basket.
  2. Style – You have a choice of either a basket with a top handle, with side handles, or with no handles. Many people love the look of the top handle basket, but they do not realize that top handle baskets are more costly to ship. Purchasing baskets with side handles or without handles will save you a considerable amount of money. If you choose to purchase top handled baskets, always buy a set! The nesting of different sizes saves on shipping, and allows you greater variety in your designs.
  3. Weight – Baskets come in a variety of materials and weights. Full willow baskets are the strongest and can hold the heaviest amounts. Split willow are lighter.
  
• Shred – Choose the color you want. Be sure to choose a color that compliments the basket, your products, the season and the occasion. Next choose the amount. Shred is available in 1 lb. bags, 5 lb. boxes and 10 lb boxes. Remember that a little bit goes a long way – shred is packed very compactly.
  
• Shrink – There are three types of shrink wrap available.
  1. Shrink Wrap Sleeves – This is the easiest option to work with. It is shaped like a bag – simply set your basket in it, pull the shrink up, crunch the top to create the fan look, and tie a bow around it. This option is best for baskets that you will deliver instead of ship. It is perfect for creating baskets “on location” at presentations or open houses.
  2. Shrink Wrap Cap – The cap is best for baskets that you will ship. The shrink cap is placed over the basket and then you seal it tight around the basket with a heat gun.
  3. Shrink Wrap Roll – Shrink wrap comes on a roll like wrapping paper. You cut the shrink to the desired size, then pull it over the basket and fasten the bottom. Next you bring it up and tie with a ribbon, or shrink it tight with a heat gun.

Create Your Baskets
First put shred in the basket. Then put your products in. Start with taller items in the back. Arrange according to size. Once you have the product in the basket, add accessory items. Be sure that the accessory items do not overshadow the products! Once assembled, cover baskets in shrink.
