In-Store Displays For Prom

The most successful florists look at Prom not just as a day, but rather as a season that will give you long-term customers.  One of the simplest, but many times forgotten, methods of getting their attention is an eye-catching Prom display.  This will show the customer that you are ready for the event and that you are an expert at what you do. 

Have on hand the latest Prom magazines, along with jeweled wrislets and a variety of ribbon and bling.  Allow the shoppers to try things on and remind them that the bracelets will later become a piece of jewelry that they can wear again.  Let them know that their choice of jewelry and flowers will be a unique design that is special to them.  

Offer part of your store display to the local dress and tuxedo shops, and ask them to show their most current designs.  In return, you will promote them and hand out a business card or a coupon flyer.  Try to have other color swatches on hand.  Paint chips from the hardware store make great color samples.

Make a selfie station that has your logo or shop name.  This is great free advertising for your business and it's fun for the students.  Ask them to tag your shop to be entered into a prize drawing.  

Creating an atmosphere of fun and style while placing importance on their special day, as well as customizing their orders, will gain a loyal customer that will tell others and later return to you for future events in their life.
