With a passion for “making the ordinary front door extraordinary,” the mother and daughter team at Grace Monroe Home recently showed their followers how to make a wreath and coordinating table piece using the new items from our Pink Sunset collection.
Tens of thousands have learned how to make designer wreaths, swags and bows from watching their YouTube videos. Amanda and Sherry’s glamorous yet homey Texas style makes a huge impact. Every design is full, detailed and packs a punch and these are no exception.

When seeing these designs come to life using the Fall 2021 collection, their followers said, “Those are the prettiest wreaths I’ve seen this year so far. Just gorgeous.” And “I love that you did two different arrangements by using some of the same items two ways!”
What did they use? Why does it make for a great fall look? Pink Sunset is a monochromatic collection that emanates warmth without it being a traditional fall color palette. Details like apples and sunflower seeds bring in the textures of the season.
About the wreath
Setting out to make a statement by keeping the grapevine wreath exposed on either side, Sherry juxtaposed that rustic texture with full and ‘glam’ focal bows on the top and bottom. From there she added flowy stems, berries and greenery to add movement. This wispy texture sprouts from the form. She layered on color with faux florals in the pink sunset collection.
Grace Monroe Home’s followers noted this wreath could easily have been full and interesting enough without the bows because the flowers add so much depth and interest.
Sherry’s daughter, Amanda, then set out to make a companion piece.
About the table arrangement
Starting with a simple wood box container, the unfinished exterior already gave a fall vibe, reminiscent of hayrides and apple picking.
Using wire cutters to separate the stems on the bushes, Amanda thoughtfully kept stems longer, so the arrangement extends 3-4” above the edge of the container. This allows the stems have enough length to grip into the foam and ensure security.
Amanda pre-greened all the way around the container using this pink berry. Anchoring the design with four, focal cabbage roses equally spaced in a diamond shape she then added three more smaller cabbage roses. Finally, she included apples. These apples take up the same amount of space as a flower and give a nice variety of texture without straying from the monochromatic palette.
While arrangements like this often need moss to cover any exposed foam, the fullness of these stems doesn’t leave any holes.
By designing all the way around the container, homeowners don’t have to fret. The finished product looks good from all angles. Whether on a coffee table, entry table or dining table the view it from all sides is finished.
Altogether, the cost of the Pioneer Imports & Wholesale flowers and container totaled less than $23 and took less than 45 minutes of design time, allowing you to retail this arrangement for a healthy profit.
