Premade willow wreaths provide a natural gridwork for inserting silk flower stems and ribbon. Meticulously spiraled for a woven appearance, they support silk flower insertions, or can be left bare for a clean look.
Often learned by designers as a handwoven art, the premade version saves time, and allows retailing at a middle price point.
Available in many colors and finishes, florists get a design mechanic that doesn’t need to be hidden. Unpeeled willow has a rich brown bark color, peeled willow exposes the light heartwood, and a white painted version is available as a sheer covering to the natural wood.

The colors provide a warm, neutral backdrop to silk flowers in many palettes. Seen here embellished with apple picks and golden nutmeg colored hanging boxwood, it is easy to see how the colors of autumn are reflected in this material. Silk dahlias with 5-6” heads are asymmetrically positioned on the wreath using is 3” wide capacity.
The willow itself provides a natural look, it is a smooth and finished material available in a symmetrical wood vine form, or a more organic oriel form. The Oriel product line has additional open space, providing a more nest-type look.
Get creative with seasonal favorites such as mums, sunflowers, or play with an oversized bow for a dynamic combination on a wreath base you don’t need to hide.
