Here are just a few ways we know we can help you reducing shipping costs:
- Are you shipping to a residential or commercial address? Home-based businesses do not receive commercial rates from carriers, they are still considered residential and can see rates of 25% or more for the same box to the same zip code. If you have the option, always ship to a commercial address to save yourself money.

- Buy in quantity; raise the weight, more favorable delivery rates. In 2019 shipping companies realized they were losing money on large but extremely light items and started imposing their own “minimum density” numbers. Today, companies look at how much it “should” weigh by applying their own minimum density number, and then charge you for whichever is more expensive - the actual weight or their dimensional weight calculation. As a result, you might as well order in volume. By raising the weight of your boxes, you get the most for your money!
- Carefully consider your items to ensure they ship well. Have you selected an item that doesn’t nest or stack well? As shipping experts, we optimize our packaging, so the box is the best fit for your items. We’ve all experienced the confusion when we receive a tiny item in a large shipping box with lots of packing material. This isn’t how we do things. Every box is packed as snugly and safely as possible, so you are paying shipping for the closest fit to your items. However, some items, such as a basket with a handle, just take up more space in a box. This is why we offer nesting sets and baskets without handles, because we have learned you can still achieve the gift presentation you need and save a lot of money shipping a basket without a handle. Still, as our goal is to meet all of your needs, we carry baskets with handles too.
