When your wholesale order arrives, taking just five minutes to inspect it can prevent delays, reduce errors, and ensure your business keeps running smoothly. This guide walks you through a simple, step-by-step process to verify your shipment and resolve any issues quickly.

How to Inspect Your Shipment in 5 Easy Steps

  • Open Carefully Our boxes are packed to allow safe opening with a utility knife along the top seam. Cut gently to avoid damaging the products inside.

  • Verify Against Your Invoice Your invoice was emailed on the day your order shipped. Use it to check the contents of your shipment against the itemized list. Match product tags and quantities to ensure order accuracy.

    Note: If your order includes inner boxes, quantities may be split across multiple cartons. Boxes labeled “mix” contain more than one product type—unpack fully and ignore exterior labels to confirm all items.

  • Check for Shipping Damage Every order is hand-packed with care. Our team understands floral products and uses proper padding and nesting to protect delicate items and reduce shipping costs. Still, damage can occur—be sure to unpack all boxes fully and inspect each item.

  • Inspect for Defects All items pass our quality inspection before shipping, but occasional defects may slip through. If you find a defective product, contact us so we can make it right.

  • Report Issues Promptly Fully unpack and check your entire order before reporting missing or damaged items. This helps us resolve your concerns efficiently. Please report all issues at one time for best service.

Understanding Size and Color Variations

When reviewing each item, keep the following in mind:

  • Product dimensions listed online and in our catalog reflect edge-to-edge measurements. For silk bushes, this includes the stem.

  • Many items are handmade, so slight size variations are normal.

  • Color differences may occur due to monitor settings, printing technologies, and the fabric-dyeing process.

  • All items are inspected to ensure they fall within an acceptable range.

  • For best color consistency—especially for events or installations—order your full quantity at the same time.
