It’s Here! New Ruscus Products Make the Must-Have Foliage Easy to Get and Easy to Use in Event and Everyday Applications!

Designers know ruscus is the go-to foliage for home and event designs. Flexible stems and long leaves make it the perfect material for garlands - either across tables, arches or other long spaces. Plus, glossy, deep green leaves align with the trend of bringing the outside in with plant life at home. As a foliage, ruscus is reminiscent of other garden plants and trees, making everything feel fresh.

Because we know your customers are gravitating to this foliage, we have it in a variety of styles and price points for your application. It’s symmetrical and solid leaf is excellent year-round, and we want to save you labor and time by providing you this much needed foliage for all the ways you use it.

Our Most Popular Ruscus Leaf in New Ways!

Overall, you asked, and we delivered! We are offering more of your favorite style ruscus leaf! A favorite of customers because it is made of a plastic material, yet it is delicate and light. This means it is durable, more weather-resistant and doesn’t fray when cut! We know when you read “Primary Material: Plastic” you may assume your customers won’t like that. But, five years of customers swear by this product noting the leaves are glossy and dark green like the real plant and 1 – 1 ½” long.

For Events and Draping

For the past five years one of the best-selling items here has been this draping, butcher’s broom-style of ruscus. The way we have configured short shoots of ruscus leaves stemming from a larger vine makes event installs easy and natural.

Giving you another premade shape, the hanging ruscus bush has three vines cascading down from a single point, creating a beautiful drape. We also now offer a ruscus wreath that coordinates as well.

For Insertions in Arrangements & Bouquets

And you’ve told us it’s not just this configuration you love, but the leaves of the ruscus themselves. So we worked with the same tools that create this ruscus leaf and are bringing it to you on a spray and bush. This allows you to have the matching leaf when needed for filler with the butcher’s broom, or to seamlessly coordinate in other event arrangements.

A New, Faux Ruscus Leaf

When you do need a softer texture because the arrangement will be touched, like a bridal bouquet, fabric leaves may be preferred.

These wreathes and bushes have ruscus leaves that are slightly longer, 2-inches in length. Combined with the fabric construction, it provides a more elongated look and moves in all directions, making it the perfect faux foliage for bouquets evoking joy and playfulness.

If your favorite foliage has been our eucalyptus variety, you’ll want to try these ruscus bushes to be trend-forward and add another trusted faux foliage to your repertoire. Made by the same team, you’ll be familiar with its sturdy construction and quality.

Additional Economical Choices

When foliage is more of a necessity purchase than a design detail, we offer budget-friendly, ruscus stems and bushes in bulk.  We understand having a volume of greenery is a necessity and event greens may be at a distance from guests, giving you the opportunity to use a material that gives the desired look at a lower price point.  Knowing this, if you want something even more budget-friendly, we have that too.

Remember us for ruscus when and where you need it! Pioneer has real people on the phone with you standing beside the real items and can help you with any questions you have! And see all the varieties side by side in our catalog, starting on page 88.
