Overstock.com reported in 2021 that, in addition to selling rising numbers of larger products like outdoor sectionals, fire pits and chaise lounges, they experienced growing interest in furniture pieces designed for compact spaces. A study from a national, mail-order food company determined Americans planning to host at their home rose by 25 percent in the past 2 years.
