Seasons of Change

Seasons of Change

Consumers can’t wait to launch into autumn and Seasons of Change is a transitional collection that bridges the change in weather, schedules and daylight. Products in this collection include all hues of the season, changing and complementing each other just as the leaves do.

The result is a smooth transition from summer to autumn. It includes the sunny yellow some aren’t ready to let go of, through purple with red undertones seen in fall foliage (maple) and fall annuals (snapdragon, zinnia). We’ve worked hard to replicate nature, and this collection encompasses half of the color wheel for all things warm.

Seasons of Change allows you, the designer, to choose your own palette, knowing we have done the work for you to ensure the elements work together. Whether you’re working with individual stems, or starting with a floral bush, we were extremely thoughtful to make sure you can achieve monochomatic (shades of orange) analogous (such as orange, yellow, red) or complementary (yellow, purple) designs.

All of these color harmonies are warm and familiar to customers because they are found in nature. Even the contrast of complementary colors isn’t jarring, because consumers see it in changing leaves, and flowers like kale and pansies in autumn. Specifically, designers know the secret to making complementary colors work together is that one becomes the dominate color. We look at our bushes like you look at your designs, making sure there is harmony and balance. Our goal is to save you time and provide value by premixing this variety.

In addition to color, we were extremely thoughtful in Seasons of Change to create bushes with proportion, creating balance between the colors as well as the textures and shapes.

Autumn’s variety of shapes and textures are universal from Central Park to the rolling hills of Ohio. We included familiar, natural elements – pumpkins, seedy sunflowers, pinecones and berries -  to incorporate interesting textures and shapes alongside the permanent botanicals. They also help customers see this décor has a place in their homes through November.

As leaves and textures change from month to month this autumn, the Seasons of Change collection captures this transformation as well. It extends the season for customers by bringing the outdoors in with a truly natural look.
