Summertime Saturday

Summertime Saturday

On Saturdays in the summer, what are floral designers doing? Setting up events. Every weekend. All summer. Probably in the spring and fall too!

2023 promises a more typical number of weddings as the market balances out – not the surge that was 2022 or the vacant 2020. But the surge for outdoor weddings remains high, as are bright, midday weddings.

What can make these events more profitable and less stressful while maintaining vibrancy? Silk flowers.

Summertime Saturday is designed for affairs overflowing with joy. For clients who want to embrace a fresh-picked, organically bright mood, these lifelike flowers deliver. And delivery and set-up are easier than ever when you can set and forget. No watering, less fragility, just designs that will look great from beginning to end. You can even rent them and use them at other events all summer long!

This collection also delivers on the huge trend of COLOR!

The rainbow of shades in the collection makes for beautiful composite centerpieces. Using various colors or containers, but maintaining a common element such as flower type, floral arrangements are interesting, unique, and natural feeling.

Designs can include complementary tones like strawberry pink and green. Because of the sharp contrast between the two colors, these deigns pop. To make an even more dynamic statement, Summertime Saturday provides a tetradic color scheme – four individual colors with big impact. What keeps this from looking garish is that this is how many flowers are naturally colored. The vibrant palette brings both visual contrast and harmony at the same time.

For the “supporting roles” at the event, bridesmaid bouquets can include analogous colors like pink and purple while the spotlight shines on a bold bridal bouquet -- all while maintaining the color palette.

With the colorful flowers as the hero in this collection, neutral containers allow it to pop where it’s supposed to.  Ground arrangements in white ceramic containers to maintain balance.

Kendall pots ranging from 2” to 8” call are great for building composite designs of all different heights. Or the swirly Everest pottery comes in low or the perfect height to drop in a bride’s or bridesmaid’s bouquet for an instant centerpiece. Another neutral container to tie arrangements together without stealing the show is the Verbena ceramic vase with very subtle light purple brush strokes.

A rainbow of summer shades, Sumertime Saturday gives you a vibrant palette rich with contrast. Not just for weddings, multicolor blooms make festive parties, showers and reunions. When life gets celebratory, rely on this collection to bring the color!
