“This will be a great pick-me-up for my friend in the hospital!” “I’m on my way to dinner at a neighbor’s house.” We’ve all heard customers make these comments time and time again. Flowers and plants really are the best gift for everyday occasions. That’s why we’ve invested in our grab-and-go silk arrangements. We know people love receiving flowers but we can’t trust that they will always nurture them! Our new collection looks as real as ever. Plus, you can combine them with other items in your shop or cluster them in a basket for truly personalized gifts.
Whether your storefront is brick-and-mortar, online, or both, there are so many reasons to stock silk grab-and-go arrangements:

They look good.
Full. Colorful. No maintenance. That’s the recipe for the perfect display! We also all know the rule of three: by showing multiples, you effectively demonstrate variety concisely. Bonus points if you display items in pyramid formations because shoppers like symmetry. The less risky way to get this volume of arrangements on display is to use silk. If displaying things in multiples and looking full is essential to appeal, premade arrangements are the answer. Add empty containers in the display too and show customers how they can mix and match to feel they made a personalized gift.
They have many uses.
Our arrangements are fully finished in a pot or container so they can be sold alone. But there are many ways to upgrade and combine them. Consider using them for sympathy work, spring holidays, even ‘planted’ in container gardens. Cold and warm climates can be harsh! Ensure they always have color on the porch with silk flowers tucked in!
Consumers like the look… and the price!
Consumers make their choices based on color first (see our Purple Reigns blog!) This means that you can use flowers in silk arrangements that may not truly be in season. The window for peonies and lilacs is brief, but consumers want to enjoy these throughout spring and summer. This is a way to make it look authentically ‘planted’ without worrying about a short and sensitive growing season.
Because you’ve saved time and labor, premades also allow you to provide a different price point. Some customers have restricted budgets. Your time, skill and art is a premium product. But not every customer every time can afford this on every purchase. Balance out your offering so they can pick up something frequently.

They are lower risk to you and your customers.
When you stock a premade arrangement, you’ve already saved time and labor, reducing your risk. You’ve also eliminated shrink – the pesky figure that keeps you from being profitable when it comes to perishable goods.
The design itself is also a lower risk to your customers – even allowing you to appeal to commercial businesses. Boutiques, restaurants and offices need worry-free solutions. They cannot have standing water, dirt or glass. But they still want the aesthetic flowers and plants provide. This is your way to get in the door with these customers.
